This trend is being forecasted by some of the biggest event rental companies in the world. 2018 is all about the modern industrial look. Think abandoned building meets modern Martha Stewart. Clean lines and minimal décor is going to be at the top of people’s party wish list but lucky for you AURA EFFECT spilled the beans early.

We're expecting glow décor to be a popular choice for industrial venues due to its modern look and eye catching glow. For instance, wedding receptions held in an industrial art gallery would do well with some high standing desiree tables for cocktail hour or glow balls and orbs to frame entranceways.

KIDS THEME PARTIES 
Kids parties are quite possibly the best parties to be a part of because they get so much enjoyment out of them. Throw a theme into the mix and you’ve got a recipe for best mom title.

Knowing how to properly set the lights throughout the different stages of your event is also crucial, e.g. performances, video tributes, speeches. ANGEL FOUNDATION OF LEARNING – FEED THE SOUL GALA

On November 10th Aura Effect was honoured to once again be part of the FEED THE SOUL GALA for the Angel Foundation of Learning (AFL). This a Toronto based charity dedicated to providing healthy and nutritious meals for students in the Toronto Catholic District School Board as well as providing all encompassing care for their education, mind, body, soul and spirit.

This amazing charity has been working hard for 30 years to provide necessities to students who may not get what they need at home. Raising a child is difficult enough and the old adage ‘it takes a village’ couldn’t be more true in this case. AFL is a true example of a community coming together to provide what these children need. 

Their latest GALA on November 10th in Vaughn saw 800 attendee’s and many much needed donations. Aura Effect was pleased to provide the glowing centerpieces and other LED decor for the nights festivities. Highlights of the night included dancing, silent auctions, raffles and a stunning performance by ‘Lady Be Good’.

AFL INITIATIVES
• Each day 53,000 students receive healthy snacks or lunches.
• $50,000 is distributed annually to ensure all students can participate in class                   trips.
• Warm clothing, food, epi pens and eyeglasses are just some of the  necessities                 these students need.
• They stop at nothing to encourage children to reach their highest possible                       potential.
